UCF men’s basketball season-opener on Saturday against Oklahoma has been postponed, per Jeff Goodman.
The announcement came after positive COVID-19 tests and contact tracing within the Sooners basketball program. Oklahoma was scheduled to open its season up against UTSA at 8 p.m. on Wednesday night.
Oklahoma announced via twitter that the men’s basketball program has paused organized team activities. It has not been released how many or which Oklahoma basketball players tested positive.

UCF confirmed that the game, scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. in Orlando, has been postponed. The Knights are now scheduled to tip-off their season on Monday at 7 p.m. versus Auburn on ESPN+.
