UCF women's basketball defeats Chattanooga (copy)

The UCF Knights women’s basketball team won the latest battle of the War on I-4 on Tuesday evening as they defeated the USF Bulls by a final score of 62-49 in Tampa according to a press release from UCF Athletics.

Junior guard, Kay Kay Wright, was the leading scorer for the Knights with 20 points.

The Knights improved to 13-2 (2-0 American Athletic Conference) this season and are currently in first place in the AAC.

The 13-point win was the second largest margin of victory against USF since their 20-point win in 1980, and it was their second victory in Tampa in program history.

The Knights are looking to add to their three-game win streak on Sunday at noon against the Cincinnati Bearcats at the CFE Arena.
