Redshirt junior defensive lineman Mason Cholewa announced he is entering his name into the transfer portal via twitter on Monday.
Heupel announced in a press conference on Sept. 1 that Cholewa was one of 10 UCF football players opting out of the 2020 season due to COVID-19 concerns.
“I also want to thank my teammates and coaches and especially the academic staff for not only making me a better football player but making me a better man,” Cholewa said in his twitter statement.
