The Knights' football team began spring camp practices on Tuesday, signalling not only the return of football for the undefeated Knights, but also the start of a new era — the Josh Heupel era.

Left fielder Tyler Osik drove in six runs and junior pitcher Jordan Spicer struck out seven in five innings as the Knights competed the series sweep over the Siena Saints by a final of 10-8.

UCF baseball defeated the Siena Saints, scoring a 2-0 win in the nightcap of Saturday's double-header after defeating them 1-0 in the previous game in the afternoon.

The Knights took on the No. 1 ranked University of Florida at John Euliano Park on Tuesday night, and ended up defeating the Gators, 9-7. This is the first time in the history of the UCF baseball program that the team beat a No. 1 ranked opponent.

UCF freshman infielder Kaitlyn Jensen helped UCF secure their second win of the day as part of a double-header against Virginia Tech and Ball State, marking the first time this season that UCF has swept a double-header.

Chilly breezes gently blew through John Euliano Park Friday night as Wagner had brought the cold with them from New York, but they couldn’t freeze UCF out of a win. In the bottom of the ninth, UCF went from trailing 2-3 to a 6-3 victory, thanks to a Rylan Thomas three-run walk-off home run.
