Breaking news update: The UCF police officer had his sirens on as he responded to a call of an employee falling off of a 20-foot ladder.  The Florida Highway Patrol said the officer went through a red light at the intersection of Alafaya Trail and Centaurus Drive when the officer T-boned another vehicle.  The driver of the other vehicle involved drove into the path of the officer.  The officer suffered minor injuries.

UCF Shuttle Fire Update: Officials said four people were on the shuttle at the time of the incident. The Orange County Fire Rescue said no one was injured in the fire on Monday afternoon around 1:30 p.m. on Alafaya Trail and Challenger Parkway.  According to UCF, the driver of the shuttle smelled something strange and told the passengers to get off of the shuttle.  It is still unclear what caused the fire.
