Sigma 3

In this Nov. 9, 2018, photo, brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. deliver a a strong performance, winning the Greek Extravaganza Step Show competition. It was the first time in six years that UCF held the event.

Three UCF fraternities were issued interim suspensions for their involvement in a fight at a tailgate party Saturday, UCF Communications Director Courtney Gilmartin said in an email.

The Office of Student Conduct is still investigating the three organizations: Phi Beta Sigma, Alpha Phi Alpha and Omega Si Phi, the email said.

The incident ending in student violence was caught on video Saturday and posted to social media, where it went viral, racking up a current count of over 4.9 million views.

Gilmartin said the fight had ended by the time UCF Police arrived and that no arrests were made, as none of the parties were interested in pressing charges.

The fraternities have not been reached for comment.
