[PIC] Student at voting booth

A UCF student casts his vote for the SGA presidential elections in front of the Student Union on March 29.

The University of Central Florida Student Government Association Senate elections started at 9 a.m. on Monday and will continue until 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

The SGA Election Commission is hoping for a greater turnout compared to last year’s Senate elections in which approximately 3,900 students voted.

Students can vote online by logging into their myUCF portal and following the SGA link in the middle of their home page. A list of candidates and their platforms can be found on the SGA website.

Votes must be received, not simply submitted, by 5 p.m. on Wednesday in order to be counted.
