At noon Tuesday the Legislative, Judicial and Rules committee postponed the vote to move the recommendation of censure against Student Government Association presidential candidate and Chief of Staff Nick Larkins to senate.
SGA Attorney General Joshua Winograd provided the public meeting with an official clarification of the term “report to”. Winograd stated "reporting to" could either mean physically giving an oral report or submitting a written report.
The recommendation of censure, filed by Sen. Brianna Bailey Sunday morning, accused Larkins of failing to fulfill his chief of staff duties, listed under “Title IV Chapter 402.4”, by not reporting to the SGA senate a minimum of four times in the months of February and March.
Larkins maintains that he committed no wrongdoings by submitting written reports, instead of physically appearing to senate to give his reports.
The election is still underway and voting will continue until Wednesday at 5 p.m.
