House Bill 7119 is being reintroduced in the 2020 session, with the intent to raise the minimum age for purchase of tobacco and nictotine products from 18 to 21. Based off the recent lung illness outbreak, Dr. Michael Deichen, associate vice president for Student Health Services, said it is important for greater restrictions to be put in place.
