UCF LGBTQ+ Services hosted the LGBTQ+ Spirit Day Thursday to promote unity. Students were able to learn how to be an ally on the patio of the Student Union while taking pictures by rainbow-colored wings, grabbing a smoothie and talking to members of LGBTQ+ services. The event, held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., took a stand against bullying and suicide by supporting LGBTQ+ youth and educating the public.
